Strange Brew's Belgian Wheat is a Belgian-style wheat beer without the spices. Normally, Belgian Wheat beers have an addition of coriander, bitter orange peel, and somethimes other spices. This kit is the same recipe as our ever popular Belgian Witbier minus the coriander and bitter orange peel. The pour is a hazy straw-gold color with a pillowy, long lasting white head (thanks to the hearty amount of wheat). The malt is the driving force of the aroma featuring a bready and malty-sweet smell that is highlighted by spicy and phenolic notes via the hops and Belgian yeast. The mouthfeel is primarily balanced between the malt flavors and the phenolic yeast flavors. This kit includes grains (crushed for your convenience), hops, yeast, bottle caps, priming sugar, a muslin bag, irish moss, and malt extract (if the kit is an extract kit). Each kit is put together when you order to ensure you are brewing with the freshest ingredients possible. Complete and easy to follow instructions are included to help you along on brew day. Note: this product is only an ingredient kit. Additional equipment is required, and available separately.
