THE DETAILS: The Taxus rain set is a thin and very lightweight combination of jacket and trousers that folds up into the jacket’s left-hand pocket and can be carried everywhere with you. The rain set has a waterproof and windproof SEETEX membrane so condensation does not accumulate inside unlike in an ordinary rainsuit. The hood is adjustable to fit snugly around your head in the cold and wet and it packs away into the collar when not in use. This provides extra insulation around the neck. The jacket also has a storm flap and two large front pockets with velco closures as well as elasticated cuffs to keep rain and wind out of your sleeves. The trousers have an elasticated waist and velcro openings on each side for easy access to your trouser pockets.
