This quilt is hand-made by me. It measures 34.75”x45.75”. The pattern is “Boreal Forest” by The Blanket Statement. I started quilting because I wanted a quilt made entirely with organic materials, but I couldn’t find many options.
The quilt top is made from organic quilter’s cotton. The back is made from organic cotton flannel. The batting in the middle is organic cotton, and the thread is also organic. The quilt has been pre-washed (scent free, Dirty Labs detergent) and dried so that it is cozy and crinkly and you have the actual final size (again, 34.75x45.75). If you’re looking at this quilt, you probably know that organic materials cost more. However, they’re better for people and the environment :) The price of the quilt reflects the higher cost of materials, plus my time.
Made in a smoke-free, low-scent home.
